The Environmental Assessment for the Mountain Road extension in Collingwood is just about ready to go back to the public.
The project to widen Mountain Road to five lanes and part of the 10th Line to two is going to the 2nd public information centre.
The proposal includes a roundabout on Mountain Road and on the 10th Line at Sixth Street.
A date for the public info session still needs to be set.
Also at this meeting, council got an update on the judicial inquiry into the 2012 sale of half of Collus.
The commission is now fully staffed including a communications assistant. The team has been reviewing documents provided by the town.
Certain parties will be asked to provide information to the commission and the town would be the first.
This review is expected to take all summer with public hearings to start in early fall.
The hearings will be live streamed for the public.
Also on Monday, council approved spending another 25 thousand dollars to install a new centre hung score clock at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena downtown.
An amount of 80 thousand dollars has already been approved.
The extra money, to come from reserves, is for roof reinforcements needed because the new clock weighs nine times that of the current clock.
The town is buying the new score clock from the Barrie Colts.
