Wasaga Beach town staff are ready to present the latest version of the 2020 budget.

The document will be discussed at Tuesday afternoon's Committee of the Whole meeting.

Draft Three of the budget carries a proposed tax increase of 3.79 percent.

That's down from 4.96 percent that was in the previous draft.

One of the ways staff have been able to lower the rate is by suggesting a varied phase-in approach to pay for the new library and arena.

The public budget meeting is set for December 10th.
