New Entrance Sign To come For East End Of Wasaga Beach

Wasaga Beach | by Catherine Thompson
Wasaga Beach councillors are going to replace an entrance sign, even though there isn't any money in the budget.

Wasaga Beach councillors are going to replace an entrance sign, even though there isn't any money in the budget.

On Thursday morning, a council committee voted unanimously to recommend that full council approve spending 20 to 25 thousand dollars for a new sign on County Road 92.

The sign that was at that entrance to town has fallen down.

Town staff will be reporting back to committee in April on how to incorporate service club logos on the entrance sign.

Staff believe construction of the new sign will be done by May 1st.
