Daryl has had a love for music since his early years. Starting off as a mobile deejay while in high school, he took his business on the road, and eventually left his native Nova Scotia for Toronto, Ontario. For over 20 years he provided musical entertainment in various night clubs, dance halls, and bars throughout the city.
Growing tired of the "night club scene" he made the logical evolution into the broadcasting industry. He started his radio career in Charlottetown, PEI. In 2005, Daryl moved back to Ontario to help launch the new 98 The Beach in Saugeen Shores for Bayshore Broadcasting. Within a year, he was their morning drive announcer.
During this time Daryl created "The Beach Party" which airs Friday and Saturday nights. The show proved popular enough, that when Bayshore added two more "Beach" stations, the show was added to their line-ups.
