Overnight Host

My name is Jillian Poulis, I take care of the overnight shows here on 97.7 the Beach.

I am definitely a night owl, every morning I wake up to my alarm and I hit the snooze button. My bed is very comfortable and I hate getting out of it every morning, especially if my kitten is snuggled up beside me. She is about 4 months old and is named Marvin. Yes, my female kitten has a boy’s name. She is equal parts super sweet and a little devil so if ever you meet me, the scratches all over my hands are from her. I’ve never had a cat before in my life, I’ve always considered myself a dog person but now I think I might be both.

Let’s see, what else is there? I am a couch potato; one of my favourite things to do is to have marathons of TV shows on DVD. I’ve got a pretty eclectic taste when it comes to my shows. I love comedies like How I Met Your Mother, procedurals like Bones and dramas like Dexter. If it’s good…or even bad I’ll watch it as long as it piques my interest and once I’m hooked I must see every episode. If I miss it one week I am not happy. My life would be so much easier with a PVR, one day, I will have one and it will be grand!
